Clarisa Garcia-Fresco is a Production Designer and Art Director based in NY and LA. Originally from Buenos Aires, Argentina, Clarisa graduated from the American Film Institute with a Master of Fine Arts in Production Design; and from the New York Institute of Technology with a Bachelor of Architecture.
Her television credits include HBO TV miniseries We Own This City & The White House Plumbers, Amazon TV series Harlem & Netflix TV series Jessica Jones. Her film credits include I Can Only Imagine, Viper Club and West Side Story. In addition, Clarisa has Production Designed a multitude of Independent feature films and short films. Her short film Clarity received the Alfred P. Sloan Foundation Award; was recipient of the Best Short Film award at the L.A. Shorts Awards and the Best Sci-Fi Short at the WorldFest-Houston International Film Festival. Her Short film Plea received the Audience Award for Narrative Short at the Ashland Independent Film Festival.
Prior to focusing on film and Production Design, Clarisa had been practicing Architecture for over 10 years giving her the opportunity to work on many award winning projects with renowned Architects around the world. During her professional career as an Architect she had the opportunity to live in London, Shenzhen, Rotterdam, Amsterdam, New York and Buenos Aires.
Clarisa is a member of the United Scenic Artists- IATSE Local 829, Local 800, and a licensed Architect in the State of NY.
